Halloween Party

Happy Halloween, everyone.

This is one of my favorite holidays! We are having Halloween party at my place tonight. My friends are coming over and my husband's colleagues are coming as well. It sounds like a big party, isn't it?

I'm going to prepared wonderful food for the party tonight. I'm not cooking, of course. All food we are having tonight is from Jessie et Laurent.

Some of main dishes will be Portobello Mushroom Fricassee, Sage Turkey Meatloaf with Tomato Basil Sauce, Pork Tenderloin Medallion Dried Fruit Ragout, Pasta Casserole a la Laurent.

I love having a party at my place. Whenever I organize home party, I order lots of food from Jessie et Lauren and all  my friends are very impressed with their gourmet homemade prepared meals.

Jessie et laurent is an awesome food delivery service in San Francisco!  Wonderful  meals, always with fresh ingredients. Excellent service and delivery.  I highly recommend this!

A friend of mine living in East Bay is expecting her first baby in a week. I would like to send her some "real" food for the first few weeks. The Best Meal Delivery

Good morning San Franciscan!  Today, I feel like I want to eat crabs... I am a big fun of seafood and sometimes, I have a strong desire for seafood. Well, I live in San Francisco and I can easily go and grab fried calamari or even crabs from Fisherman's Warf. As you know, San Francisco is very famous for good seafood, but the touristic area of the Fisherman’s Wharf often give visitors disappointed with the quality of fish and food preparation....  However, this week of menu from Jessie et Laurent included Dungeness Crab which is absolutely my favorite! I just had this tender crab for lunch and it was fresh and with herbs, mushrooms, carrots, potatoes and peas in a light creamy sauce.The pie crust was amazing! I really enjoyed it. Unfortunately,this is not freezable, so I had to finish myself. Sorry I could't leave any for my lovely family...

I have been using Jessie et Laurent's meal delivery service since this summer.

These are what I ordered this week for my family. It seems like Jessie et Laurent offers a few new main dishes. I haven't gone to shopping groceries at all lately. Because we have always some food in our fridge from Jessie et Laurent.  These meals are going to be our dinner this week.

• NEW! Smoky Paprikash Spanish Chicken-Fresh boneless, skinless free range chicken breast prepared with a wonderful sauce of caramelized onions, Smoky paprika, caraway seeds, white wine and sliced button mushrooms. Freezes 
• Rock Shrimp Enchiladas with Tomatillo Salsa-Hand-made white corn tortillas filled with Rock shrimp, mild green chilies, Monterey jack and cheddar cheese, fresh white corn, red onion and rice. 2 Enchiladas per serving. Served with a fresh tomatillo salsa on the side. Freezes.
• Lemon Turkey Meatballs with Tomato Basil Sauce-Delicate fresh turkey meatballs seasoned with lemon zest, scallions and cardamom; then poached, and served with a wonderful tomato basil sauce. Freezes.

A Gourmet gift

Recently, my close friend had a baby and I gave her one month worth jessie gift from Jessie et Laurent.  I thought this is the best gift for her because I could help her out with a newborn baby in her house. She told me that Jessie et Laurent is like going out to dinner and she could stay home ( and not worry about her baby creating chaos or whatever happens!) She really appriciated their fresh and healthy food and services as well.

Good Morning San Francisco! I'm planning to have a small party tonight  at my house and the following food will be served  from Jessie et  Laurent for my friends. Its going to be one of the best night with gourmet food!  The main menu will be Slow Braised Beef Short Ribs! These boneless succulent ribs are braised with fresh rosemary, garlic, red wine and tomatoes. Garnished with diced roasted fresh tomatoes.

This is absolutely my favorite and I'm sure that my friends are going to love it! How about another main dish? Well, it going to be Coq Au Vin. This classic French dish is made with free-range chicken breast simmered with baby onions, garlic, carrots, button mushrooms, and smoked bacon, in a red wine and tomato broth. Sounds great so far! And Healthy Scalloped Potatoes and Steamed Seasonal Vegetables will be on the side. Done!

Happy Friday, San Franciscan! It is my grandmother`s birthday this weekend . She will be  90 years old and she still loves pizza! I assume she eats pizza almost everyday and she hates cooking... She needs to eat something more healthy food.. like variety of food. So, lets make her healthy person!

The birthday gift for her should be something handmade or homemade. And I want to show her how much we care about her. Last year, we gave to her a piece of jewel.And this year, it will be a community gift from Jessie et Laurent. Our all family member can participate for community gift program from Jessie et Laurent. 
 I will ask all my family member to contribute only $20 per person which is not bad at all.

Hello San Francisco! I can not wait to tell you how we enjoyed our dinner this week.
I did`t cook, of cores. We just place an order gourmet meal delivery service from Jessie et Laurent.
We can not live with Jessie et Laurent anymore because their meals are always amazing and delicious. Absolutely reliable -- extraordinary quality at reasonable price. And it is like having a personal chef at home. These are the menu of this week.

• Chicken Enchiladas with Black Bean Salsa-  (Yammy, chille was mild. )
• Salmon Terrine with Celery Sauce-(Fresh salmon terrine with a light sauce of pureed celery root, onion, carrots and a splash of cream.This is not freezable so we ate all!)
• Hungarian Stewed Beef Stroganoff w Egg Noodles (Very tender niman ranch beef!)
• Gruyere & Ham Crepes - Brittany Style ( My favorite! Gruyere cheese and Niman Ranch Royal ham, simply delicious)
• Chef's Salad Deluxe- ( Romaine, watercress, chicken breast, mushrooms, gruyere, artichoke hearts, blanched red onions, radishes, green beans, cherry tomatoes, Canadian bacon, eggs, and scallions. A Balsamic and Dijon mustard dressing with garlic comes on the side. ALSO AVAILABLE VEGETARIAN!)
• Toasted Pecan Pie- ( No chance to eat this cause my kids ate all!!!)
