We are going to have The New year Party at my place and some family member  will join us. The main course will be Home Style Jamaican Chicken and Tilapia Quenelles with Tomato Lobster Sauce. Jamaican Chicken is like Chicken thighs on the bone in exotic Caribbean spices and simmered with onion, capers, and fresh tomatoes.This dish will make us warm.

Good Morning folks, Christmas is officially over. I had great time with my lovely family with fantastic food delivered from Jessie et Laurent. I hope all of you had a wonderful Christmas as well.

It's has been raining here in the Bay Area...  But I kind of love rainy day.
Staying home with a warm cup of tea, put nice relaxed music on and some delicious food from Jessie et Laurent. We just received prepared meals delivery from Jessie et Laurent this morning and now I am having a Traditional Basque Cakes with some tea. This cake is new and amazing taste with rum pastry cream inside. Oh my goodness. I'm not really big fun of sweet but this is wonderful! I cant wait to share this cake with my kids... They should be home soon.

For dinner, we will have Home Style Jamaican Chicken as main food.
Chicken thighs on the bone in exotic Caribbean spices and simmered with onion, imported capers, and fresh tomatoes.Sounds very delicious, right?  And Vegetable Barley Soup too.

The best chicken enchiladas

OMG! I had the best Chicken Enchiladas I've ever had in my life! This is from Jessie et Laurent, and it is Corn tortillas layered with poached free-range chicken breasts, mild chilies, Monterey Jack cheese, sour cream and garlic, then hand rolled. Served with a black bean tomato salsa on the side. What an amazing taste..  I felt like " Wow mexican food is healthy! "
You know, I used to go to Mission street where you can find lots of Mexican food everywhere, but this Chicken Enchilada I had, you can't find everywhere in San Francisco. Seriously the best!

Best Baby Shower Gift

 I have a problem. I have 2 baby showers to go to within the month and 2 birthdays to host next month. Hello all! I hope that you are having a GREAT weekend!

I had  Coq Au Vin from Jessie et Laurent last night and it was amazing!
Coq Au Vin is a French braised of chicken cooked with baby onions, garlic, carrots, button mushrooms, and smoked bacon, in a red wine and tomato broth. you know, this dish reminds me of France! Actually, we went to France for honeymoon 10 years ago and we had beautiful French food and wine every day. When you think of France, what comes to mind? Me? Food and wine!

So, if you are a French food fan, I highly recommend Jessie et Laurent. Because they offer lots of homemade french food, not only French food but also other international gourmet food!

Happy Thanksgiving

Hello, folks. It has been a gorgeous fall day. All week the weather has been exceptionally nice here in San Francisco. 

 How was your Thanksgiving? I loved it because get everyone involved in dinner, and bring your family closer together with beautiful grilled Turkey from Jessie et Laurent.

When all my family and friends arrived my apt around 7pm, they came here with empty stomach and desire for the turkey. They could't wait to eat, especially my kids... The mouth-watering smells of stuffing and turkey. 

Oh my god.. I was just speechless when I had the turkey from Jessie et Laurent. 
Not only Turkey looked beautiful but also AMAZING taste! I wish I would have share with all of you! I never had such a delicious turkey in my life.  Thanks to Jessie et Laurent, you are the best homemade meal delivery company in the world!

What's for dinner tonight?

We will have  Old Fashioned Chicken Pot Pie and Moroccan Grilled Flank Steak Salad from Jessie et Laurent. Sounds very delicious, right? Chicken pot pie is a kind of meal a lot of us crave when it's cold, windy day, and our outsides are shivering. We need that comfort food like this that warms us up like nothing else can. Also, Chicken pot pie reminds me always mom's food.

When it comes to salad, my kids don' enjoy salad itself but with flank steak, they will be happy!
My problem with healthy eating, especially salad, is that I often feel so unfulfilled too. But, this simple dressing which is olive oil vinaigrete hits a lot of prime flavors that I really love.

Halloween Party

Happy Halloween, everyone.

This is one of my favorite holidays! We are having Halloween party at my place tonight. My friends are coming over and my husband's colleagues are coming as well. It sounds like a big party, isn't it?

Good morning San Franciscan!  Today, I feel like I want to eat crabs... I am a big fun of seafood and sometimes, I have a strong desire for seafood. Well, I live in San Francisco and I can easily go and grab fried calamari or even crabs from Fisherman's Warf. As you know, San Francisco is very famous for good seafood, but the touristic area of the Fisherman’s Wharf often give visitors disappointed with the quality of fish and food preparation....  However, this week of menu from Jessie et Laurent included Dungeness Crab which is absolutely my favorite! I just had this tender crab for lunch and it was fresh and with herbs, mushrooms, carrots, potatoes and peas in a light creamy sauce.The pie crust was amazing! I really enjoyed it. Unfortunately,this is not freezable, so I had to finish myself. Sorry I could't leave any for my lovely family...

Good Morning San Francisco! I'm planning to have a small party tonight  at my house and the following food will be served  from Jessie et  Laurent for my friends. Its going to be one of the best night with gourmet food!  The main menu will be Slow Braised Beef Short Ribs! These boneless succulent ribs are braised with fresh rosemary, garlic, red wine and tomatoes. Garnished with diced roasted fresh tomatoes.

This is absolutely my favorite and I'm sure that my friends are going to love it! How about another main dish? Well, it going to be Coq Au Vin. This classic French dish is made with free-range chicken breast simmered with baby onions, garlic, carrots, button mushrooms, and smoked bacon, in a red wine and tomato broth. Sounds great so far! And Healthy Scalloped Potatoes and Steamed Seasonal Vegetables will be on the side. Done!

Hello America. How are you?

Recently, one of my oldest friends has been hospitalized for horrible bone breaking fall and she has been  still struggling with it. Her back bone is damaged and weakened.. I feel so sorry for her..

I was thinking to send her some nice  gift like beautiful flowers or a teddy bear. I believe sending flower is always a great idea but in her case, she will be sent her home soon from a hospital. I've already indulged and eaten two cupcakes, and I can't wait for dinner. I will eat Succulent BBQ Pork ribs, Salade Quatre Saisons and Butternut Squash Stuffed Poblano Chillies for tonight.

Today, I received "Organic Fair Trade Equator Coffee Blend" from Jessie et Laurent as a gift! Oh my god! What a great coffee! My husband and I drink coffee every morning so we will enjoy this special coffee for a while! What a nice gift! Thanks to Jessie et Laurent. 

My friends are supposed to come tonight for dinner. I am planning to serve Lasagna Florentine which is from Jessie et Laurent, of cores. This lasagna is made with fresh spinach, caramelized onions, garlic, ricotta and mozzarella cheeses, law fat béchamel and a home-made tomato sauce. And  Royal Raspberry Cheesecake for dessert. Summer Cold Grilled Niman Ranch!

Hello! San Franciscan!!! Did you know that this is the last week this year they are offering their Summer Cold Grilled Niman Ranch Tri Tip with horseradish crème fraiche! This is one of especially my husband's favorite dishes. The beef is so tender and all natural. My husband will be so sad if he knows this is the last week we can order in this year...

It is 12:00pm here in San Francisco and time to lunch for me.. well.. I'm going to have Shrimp & Scallop Cakes with Aioli and Greens from Jessie et Laurent. This cake is made both shrimp and scallop with tiny diced red bell pepper and scallion. Look so good! I feel like I'm going to finish this cake by my own. Should I leave some for my lovely husband and kids?? Maybe no!

Hope you guys are doing well.

 The food from Jessie et Laurent  arrived yesterday! So happy!!!  I ordered 10 kinds of dishes this week. My husband can't wait to come back home for dinner.

Last night, we had Grilled Niman Ranch Tri Tip and it was marvelous! Very tender. And Old fashion vegetable pot pie which was pretty good  with fresh herbs, asparagus, potatoes, carrot and peas and freezer-friendly. This dish is always perfect since we live in San Francisco. The soup makes me feel warm. And we had Corn Tamales with Vegetable Medley and Queso Fresco.  It was handmade corn tamales and lots of vegetable comes together. For dessert, Raspberry Cheesecake was amazing.

Fresh Food Deliverd to your door

Hello, America!  Hope you are all doing great!  I lost weight in less than two month like 4.5 pound!!!!!!  I'm a chavy person so it has been really hard for me to lose weight. I was seeing on myself despite going mostly a gym and working out 5-6 days a week... But look at me now. I look great!

Homemade Italian food delivered from Jessie et Laurent

Good morning San Francisco! What a beautiful day today. I have been so stressed out from my work lately.. And when I go home, my kids are always around and playing video games by themselves. So,  it makes me feel much more stress! If you have kids, I'm pretty sure you feel the same way as I do. Thank god that the good thing is that I don't have to cook for my family all the time because I order gourmet food every week from Jessie et Laurent. And their homemade food always filling.

Lately, I have been craving for Italian food, wait a min! Jessie et Lauren offers Eggplant Parmigiana next week! That's one of my favorite Italian dishes!    
Their Eggplant Parmigiana is Tuscan style, baked instead of sauteed (to keep it very lean), layered with their house made tomato sauce, roasted garlic, fresh basil, and low fat mozzarella. Topped with Parmesan cheese. This is exactly what I want.  And they also have Baked Pasta with Roasted Veggies & Walnuts as well.  This one has roasted fresh tomatoes, eggplant, zucchini and butternut squash; tossed with imported penne pasta, fresh basil, sun-dried tomatoes, walnuts, ricotta and parmesan cheese. We will simply enjoy an Italian dinner next week. Of course, my kids are just big eaters, so we will probably order extra.

I will probably go to Napa and Sonoma to see my cousin next weekend with my family. They are world-famous for their wine, fine dining and natural beauty. The girls' night was really successful!

Personally, my favorite was Chicken/Vegetarian Enchiladas with Black Bean Salsa. If you are an enchilada lover like me, you will love these!! Enchiladas are always my dish of choice when I go out for Mexican but believe me, this one is the best of the best!

Hi, there.  Girls' night is always fun! Girl's night is not for only single gals. I'm married and I have kids but I love girls night out. We do this once a month, and this month I`m in charge of organizing the party. We usually go out in our sexy clothes to a nice restaurant with a bunch of moms . Where should we go this month? Well, we live in San Francisco and we've tried pretty much all the popular restaurants, should I go back the same restaurants again? I don't think so.
